Presa House Gallery

San Antonio, TX

Presa House Gallery is a D.I.Y. artist-run program in San Antonio, Texas, dedicated to providing space for emerging and mid-career artists across all disciplines. Since its founding in 2016, the gallery has provided a supportive environment for artists to experiment freely, express innovative ideas, and engage with diverse audiences.


Under the direction of Rigoberto Luna, a current NXTHVN Curatorial Fellow, and Jenelle Esparza, a textile-based multidisciplinary artist and 2024 U.S. Latinx Art Forum Artist Fellow, the gallery hosts a wide range of solo and group exhibitions along with a variety of programs.

Presa House has established itself as an important venue and platform for diverse voices through collaboration with artists and community organizations. It showcases work that authentically promotes critical dialogue and addresses culturally diverse issues. The gallery's programming enhances the appreciation of contemporary art across Texas while fostering a sense of community among artists and art enthusiasts.
